SYMPTOMS
========
If you drag and drop data from an open text file into Microsoft MapPoint 2000,
the data is not imported into MapPoint 2000.
RESOLUTION
==========
To work around this issue, use the Data Import wizard to import the text file
into MapPoint 2000.
STATUS

This behavior is by design.

If you import the text file into Microsoft Excel, and then drag and drop the
data from the Excel workbook into MapPoint 2000, the data is imported
successfully.
