SYMPTOMS
========

The NvRunCmd Service may pass incorrect data to the Display session when certain
applications are started. The data may either be truncated or mixed up with the
output of a previous command.

CAUSE
=====

When an application is started that sends NULL Bytes in the data to be
displayed, the NvRunCmd Service only sends data up to the first occurrence of a
NULL byte.

RESOLUTION
==========

SNA Server 4.0

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for SNA Server version

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SNA Server, versions
3.0, 3.0SP1, 3.0SP2, 3.0SP3, 4.0, 4.0SP1, 4.0SP2.. This problem was first
corrected in SNA Server version 3.0 Service Pack 4 and SNA Server version 4.0
Service Pack 3.

After you apply the update, NvRunCmd will send all data to the host, including
any NULLs in the data stream.
