SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to play Microsoft Midtown Madness with other players over an
Internet connection, the game may unexpectedly minimize and a dialog box
containing the following message may appear in the background:

  Please click on the Midtown Madness icon in the taskbar once you have
  verified connection to the Internet.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if Midtown Madness is unable to verify that you are
connected to the Internet.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, verify that you are connected to the Internet and then
click OK.

NOTE: If you do not see the message specified in the "Symptoms" section of this
article, press ALT+TAB until you see the message, verify that you are connected
to the Internet, and then click OK.
