SYMPTOMS
========

When you play Microsoft Midtown Madness, you may encounter any of the following
symptoms:

- Snow may not appear as expected.

- Traffic lines on the street may be blurry or distorted.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if the following conditions are true:

- A video adapter based on the Voodoo Banshee chipset is installed in your
  computer.

- The auto-mipmapping feature is enabled on your video adapter.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, disable the auto-mipmapping feature on your video
adapter. For more information about how to disable auto-mipmapping, consult the
online or printed documentation provided with your video adapter or contact your
hardware manufacturer.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
