SYMPTOMS
========

Following the installation of a program, your computer running Windows NT 4.0
Terminal Server encounters an access violation in Termsrv.exe. After this access
violation, users are unable to connect to the Terminal Server computer.

This behavior occurs only when your computer running Windows NT Terminal Server
has more than 100 installed applications which have each registered uninstall
information in subkeys of the following registry location:

  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall


RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT Server
4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For additional information, please see the

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal
Server Edition. This problem was first corrected in Windows NT Server 4.0,
Terminal Server Edition, Service Pack 5.
