SYMPTOMS

When you try to view logs associated with the Windows NT 4.0 Event Viewer
program, Services.exe may stop responding (hang) or it may generate an access
violation error message.

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT version
4.0 or the individual software update. For information on obtaining the latest
