SYMPTOMS

When you have a program that uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) communications to
connect to a Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) tree, your Windows NT
4.0-based computer may not be able to communicate properly with the server that
contains the LDAP tree.
RESOLUTION

To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0. For

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
