This article describes how to transfer players and player profiles from Golf
1998 Lite, included with Microsoft Plus! 98, to Microsoft Golf 1999 Edition.

To transfer players and player profiles from Golf 1998 Lite to Golf 1999
Edition, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, and then click Run.

2. In the Open box, type "C:\Program Files\Plus!\Golf" (including the quotation
  marks), and then click OK.

3. Press and hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard, and then click on the
  following files:

   - <player>.pin
   - <player>.pal

  where <player>is the name of the player you want to tranfer. When both
  files are selected, release the CTRL key.

4. Right-click on either of the selected files, and then click Copy.

5. Close the Golf window.

6. In the Open box, type "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Golf 1999
  Edition" (including the quotation marks), and then click OK.

7. On the Edit menu, click Paste.

8. Close the Microsoft Golf 1999 Edition window.
