SYMPTOMS
========
When you drag the scroll box in the vertical scroll bar to go to the end of a
large document, the vertical scroll box may not take you to the last page of the
document. In addition, the Screen Tip does not display the last page number of
the document.
NOTE: This problem can occur in any view in Word.
WORKAROUND
==========
To scroll to the last page of your document, click and hold the bottom scroll
arrow on the vertical scroll bar until you reach the last page of the document.
STATUS
======
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at
the beginning of this article.
This problem has been corrected in Word 2000.

1. On the Tools menu, click Customize.
2. On the Options tab, click to select the "Show ScreenTips on toolbars" check
box, and then click Close.
