SYMPTOMS
========
When you attempt to use the Define feature in Microsoft Word 97, you may receive
the following error message:
Word cannot find or run the application.
CAUSE
=====
This behavior can occur if all of the following conditions are true:
- You install Microsoft Bookshelf 99 over an existing version of Microsoft
Bookshelf 98 for Windows.
- When Bookshelf 99 Setup prompts you to remove the existing 98 version, you
choose to keep the existing version.
- After Bookshelf 99 Setup is complete, you remove Bookshelf 99.
RESOLUTION
==========
To resolve this issue, remove Bookshelf 98, and then reinstall Bookshelf 99.
