SYMPTOMS
========
When you attempt to access the Productivity Tips included with the Microsoft
IntelliPoint software on a Microsoft Windows NT 4.0-based computer, you may
receive an "Access Violation in Tips.exe" error message.
CAUSE
=====
This behavior can occur if you install Microsoft Windows NT Service Pack 4
(SP4). Tips.exe is not compatible with Windows NT Service Pack 4.
RESOLUTION
==========
To resolve this issue, install the Microsoft IntelliPoint software version
2.2d.
The IntelliPoint software version 2.2d is available as a free download from the
following Microsoft Web site:
http://www.microsoft.com/products/hardware/mouse/default.htm
