SYMPTOMS
========
The SMTP service included with Internet Information Server 4.0 rejects messages
when the HELO or EHLO command times out. When the SMTP service tries to deliver
a message and times out while waiting for the response to the HELO or EHLO
command, an NDR is generated and no further retries are attempted.
RESOLUTION
==========
To resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or
Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For additional information,
