SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to find a restaurant using the Zagatsurvey Restaurant Guide in
Expedia Trip Planner 98 or Expedia Streets 98, you may receive the following
error message:

  No Matching Places Were Found.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur for either of the following reasons:

- The search settings in the Zagatsurvey Restaurant Guide dialog box are too
  restrictive.

- One or more program files are missing or damaged.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, try a less restrictive search in the Zagatsurvey
Restaurant Guide dialog box.

If the issue continues to occur, manually copy the program files from the Trip
Planner or Streets CD-ROM to the program folder on the hard disk. To do so, use
the appropriate method for your program.

Trip Planner 98
---------------

1. Quit all running programs.

2. Insert the Expedia Trip Planner 98 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. Press and
  hold down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent the program from
  starting automatically.

3. Click Start, and then click Run.

4. In the Open box, type the following line, and then click OK

  " <cdrom>:\acmsetup\automap\system " (without the quotation marks)

  where <cdrom> is the letter of the CD-ROM drive.

5. On the Edit menu, click Select All.

6. On the Edit menu, click Copy.

7. Click Start, and then click Run.

8. In the Open box, type the following line (with quotation marks), and then
  click OK

  " "<drive>:\program files\microsoft expedia\trip planner 98\system" "
  (without the quotation marks)

  where <drive> is the letter of the hard disk on which Expedia Trip
  Planner 98 is installed.

9. On the Edit menu, click Paste.

10. When you are prompted to overwrite the existing files, click Yes To All.

Streets 98
----------

1. Quit all running programs.

2. Insert the Expedia Streets 98 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. Press and hold
  down the SHIFT key as you insert the CD-ROM to prevent the program from
  starting automatically.

3. Click Start, and then click Run.

4. In the Open box, type the following line, and then click OK

  " <cdrom>:\acmsetup\automap\system " (without the quotation marks)

  where <cdrom> is the letter of the CD-ROM drive.

5. On the Edit menu, click Select All.

6. On the Edit menu, click Copy.

7. Click Start, and then click Run.
