SYMPTOMS

On Windows NT Systems Management Server clients, the Systems Management Server
Remote Control Agent may fail to update the security event log after a remote
control session.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server
version 1.2.
A supported fix is now available from Microsoft, but it is only intended to
correct the problem described in this article and should be applied only to
