SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to run Clip Gallery, Clip Gallery may appear as a gray hashed
box.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior appears if you minimize Clip Gallery and then close the program.
When you do this, Clip Gallery closes in a minimized state. If you then attempt
to run Clip Gallery, it opens in a minimized state. The minimized Clip Gallery
window appears on the taskbar and a gray hashed box appears in place of the Clip
Gallery object in your file.

RESOLUTION
==========

Click the Microsoft Clip Gallery button on the taskbar, select a clip and insert
it.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at
the beginning of this article.
