SUMMARY
=======
ISMIF, a tool available in the BackOffice Resource Kit, writes a generic status
MIF file from information provided when you run it from a command prompt.
Ismif32.exe is a 32-bit application that does not have a dialog box. All
information must be specified when you run it from a command prompt.

ISMIF32 Syntax

ismif32 [-f Filename] [-c Manufacturer] [-p Product] [-v Version] [-l
Locale] [-n Serial_Number] [-d Description] [-s Success] [-q] [-?]
-f Filename - Specifies the name of the MIF file that will be created. A
MIF extension is automatically appended. The default file name is
Setup.mif.
-c, -p, -v, -l, -n, -d - Each of these options can specify a text
string. Strings containing spaces must be surrounded by quotation marks.
-s status - 0 or 1. The 1 means success.
-q - Quiet mode. No output is displayed on the screen.
-? - Provides a usage statement.
ISMIF32 Example

The preceding command creates a file in your Windows directory called Setup.mif
that contains the following:
