SYMPTOMS
========

When you try to log onto a Visual SourceSafe database, you receive the following
error message:

  User Admin Not Found

This error occurs even though the Admin's user directory and ss.ini files do
exist.

CAUSE
=====

The error is typically caused by corruption in the UM.dat or the Rights.dat
files.

RESOLUTION
==========

Call Microsoft Technical Support for a possible resolution to this error. Choose
Technical Support from the Help menu within the Visual SourceSafe Explorer for
more information about contacting support.
