SYMPTOMS
========

While you are playing Microsoft Golf 1998 edition, your computer may stop
responding (hang) at random intervals.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if you are using a 16-bit sound card.

RESOLUTION
==========

To work around this issue, turn off the game sounds feature in Golf 98. To do
this, follow these steps:

1. Click Menu, point to Options, and then click Game Preferences.

2. Click the Game Sounds box to change the value inside the box to No.

3. Click OK.
