SYMPTOMS
========

If you are using a transparent GIF image in a cell with a specified background
color, the page background color appears rather than the background color of the
cell.

RESOLUTION
==========

This behavior only appears in FrontPage Editor. The page shows correctly in the
browser.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at
the beginning of this article. This problem was corrected in Microsoft FrontPage
98 for Windows.
