This article describes how to change your visibility settings in Friends Online
on MSN, The Microsoft Network.

To change your visibility settings in Friends Online on MSN, follow these
steps:

1. Connect to MSN.

2. On the MSN On Stage page, click Communicate.

3. On the Communicate page, click Friends Online.

4. On the Friends Online page, click Who Can See Me.

5. Under "Who can see that you are online," click one of the following options:
   - Allow All Members

   - Don't Allow Anyone

   - Allow Only These People

     NOTE: If you click Allow Only These People, you need to type the e-mail
     addresses of the people you want to allow to see that you are online,
     separated by commas, in the Allow Only These People box.

   - Don't Allow These People

     NOTE: If you click Don't Allow These People, you need to type the e-mail
     addresses of the people you do not want to allow to see that you are
     online, separated by commas, in the Don't Allow These People box.

6. Click Make The Changes.

To enable or disable Do Not Disturb mode in Friends Online on MSN, follow these
steps:

1. Connect to MSN.

2. On the MSN On Stage page, click Communicate.

3. On the Communicate page, click Friends Online.

4. On the Friends Online page, click Do Not Disturb.

5. On the Do Not Disturb page, click one of the following options:
   - "I'm feeling social, please let people know I'm online."

   - "I'm not feeling social right now, please do not disturb me."

6. Click Make The Changes.
