SYMPTOMS
========
When you have text formatted in a language other than English (United States),
if you include that text in a hyperlink, the language reverts to English (United
States).
CAUSE
=====
By default, the hyperlink style includes the English (United States) language
setting.
MORE INFORMATION
================
This scenario also occurs when you use a proofing tool in a language other than
English, if the keyboard is set to the non-English language. The text is
automatically formatted in that language until the Hyperlink style is applied.
STATUS
======
Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
listed at the beginning of this article.
This problem has been corrected in Word 2000.
