the Flight Simulator online Help file.

Some lessons and adventures in Flight Simulator 98/2000 refer you to the
"Preflight Briefings" topic in the online Help file, or they refer you to the
preflight briefing information for a particular lesson.

As an example, the description for the Introductory Flight of the 737-400
installed by Flight Shop Converter 98 refers you to the "Preflight Briefing:
Introductory Flight--Boeing 737-400" topic in the online Help file.

The information available in the "Preflight Briefings" topic in the online Help
file is not dynamically linked to the active lesson or adventure. The "Preflight
Briefings" topic contains general information about preflight briefings and
keyboard commands. More specific preflight briefing information may be available
in the Help topics for specific lessons and adventures.

Flight Simulator 2000
---------------------

1. When you are in the cockpit, click Simulator Help on the Help menu.

2. Click Flights/Lessons/Adventures.

3. In the left pane, click Preflight Briefing.

4. In the right pane, click the specific preflight briefing Help topic you want
  to read.

Flight Simulator 98
-------------------

1. When you are in the cockpit, click Contents on the Help menu.

2. Double-click Preflight Briefings.

3. Double-click Lessons or Adventures.

4. Double-click the specific preflight briefing Help topic you want to read.

When you fly an lesson or adventure, the instructor or co-pilot gives you
additional preflight briefing information and commands.
