SYMPTOMS
========

On page 336 of "Active Visual Basic 5.0," in the note at the top of the page,
the seventh sentence states: "Active Server Pages and Microsoft Personal Web
Server are included on the accompanying CD-ROM."

Active Server Pages is included on the companion disc, but Microsoft Personal Web
Server is not.

RESOLUTION
==========

Download Microsoft Personal Web Server from the Microsoft Web site. Microsoft
Personal Web Server is available for free download at the following Web
addresses:

  http://www.microsoft.com/ie/download/

  http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/ntoptionpack/askwiz.asp

NOTE: Because these Microsoft Web sites are constantly updated, the site
addresses may change without notice. If this occurs, link to the Microsoft home

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in "Active Visual Basic 5.0."

MORE INFORMATION

Microsoft Personal Web Server is only necessary if you are using Windows 95. On
Windows NT Workstation, you will use Peer Web Services. On Windows NT Server,
you will use Microsoft Internet Information Server. In both cases, the software
you need is included with the operating system.
