SYMPTOMS
========

If you play a Wave (.wav) file, then right-click the article and choose Copy To
(either Word or PowerPoint), the you receive the error message:

  This program has performed an illegal operation and will be shut down.

If you click the Details button, you see the message:

  BSHELF98 caused an invalid page fault in module Kernel32.DLL

You may be required to shut off the computer with the power switch in order to
continue.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Bookshelf 98.
Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here as it
becomes available.

WORKAROUND
==========

You can copy the material and then manually switch to Word or PowerPoint, and
then paste the material into the document.
