SYMPTOMS
========

The file pane in the SourceSafe Explorer refreshes when a file is selected,
causing the file pane to flicker. Typically, larger projects will take longer to
refresh the entire file pane.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the
beginning of this article. This bug has been fixed in Visual Studio 97 Service
Pack 3.
