SUMMARY
=======
The Item Retention feature available with Microsoft Exchange Server, version
5.5, can only be accessed by users running Microsoft Outlook for Windows 95 or
Windows NT, version 8.03 or higher. With these 32-bit clients, users will have
the Recover Deleted Items option on the Tools menu. This option is available
when Item Retention is enabled on the Exchange Server by the Microsoft Exchange
administrator.
This option is not available to the following versions of Microsoft Exchange and
Microsoft Outlook:
- Microsoft Exchange for Macintosh
- Microsoft Exchange for Windows (Windows 3.1x, Windows 95, Windows NT)
- Microsoft Outlook for Macintosh, Exchange Server Edition, version 8.0
- Microsoft Outlook for Windows 3.x, Exchange Server Edition, version 8.0
- Microsoft Outlook for Windows, versiona 8.0, 8.01, and 8.02
