The Windows NT Server Tools for Windows NT Workstation 4.0 allow Windows NT 4.0
Workstations to remotely administer Windows NT 3.x and 4.0 servers and domain
controllers.

The Windows NT Server Tools for Windows NT Workstation 4.0 available in the
Srvtools.exe file include Server Manager and User Manager.

The Windows NT Server Tools for Windows NT Workstation 4.0 available on the
Windows NT 4.0 Server CD-ROM include DHCP Manager, System Policy Editor, Remote
Access Administrator, RemoteBoot Manager, and WINS Manager, in addition to
Server Manager and User Manager.

To install the Windows NT Server Tools available in the Srvtools.exe file in
Windows NT Workstation 4.0, follow these steps:

1. Expand the Srvtools.exe file in the %SystemRoot%\System32 folder.

2. Create icons on your desktop for the Srvmgr.exe (Server Manager) and
  Usrmgr.exe (User Manager for Domains) files in your %SystemRoot%\System32
  folder.

NOTE: The tools available in the Srvtools.exe file are for use only on Windows NT
Workstation 4.0 on Intel-based computers.

To install the Windows NT Server Tools from the Windows NT 4.0 Server CD-ROM in
Windows NT Workstation 4.0, follow these steps:

1. Run the Setup.bat program in the Clients\Srvtools\Winnt folder on the Windows
  NT 4.0 Server CD-ROM.

2. Create icons on your desktop for the Dhcpadmn.exe (DHCP Manager), Poledit.exe
  (System Policy Editor), Rasadmin.exe (Remote Access Administrator),
  Rplmgr.exe (RemoteBoot Manager), Srvmgr.exe (Server Manager), Usrmgr.exe
  (User Manager for Domains), and Winsadmn.exe (WINS Manager) files in your
  %SystemRoot%\System32 folder.

NOTE: The tools available on the Windows NT 4.0 Server CD-ROM are for use on any
supported Windows NT 4.0 platform (DEC Alpha, Intel, MIPS, or PowerPC)
