SYMPTOMS
========

When you right-click the The Microsoft Network desktop icon, the Connection
Settings command may be unavailable.

CAUSE
=====

Your connection settings may not have been correctly configured during MSN, The
Microsoft Network, Setup.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, use the following steps:

1. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files Or Folders.

2. In the Named box, type "msn.cmp" (without quotation marks), and then click
  Find Now.

3. Double-click the Msn.cmp file in the list of found files.

4. Click Settings.

5. On the Dialing tab, next to the Phone Number box, click Phone Book.

6. Click the appropriate access number for your area, and then click OK.

7. On the Dialing tab, next to the Backup Number box, click Phone Book.

8. Click the appropriate backup access number for your area, click OK, and then
  click OK again.

9. Close all open windows, and then restart the computer.
