SYMPTOMS
========
When you try to install a Verisign certificate, Key Manager may not accept the
password assigned for that certificate, and the certificate fails to install.
RESOLUTION
==========
Perform the following steps to work around this problem:
1. Open the certificate in a text editor (such as Notepad).
2. Insert blank lines before "Begin Certificate" and after "End Certificate" as
below:

3. Save the file and then attempt to install the certificate as before in Key
Manager.
STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with Microsoft Internet Information
Server version 3.0. We are researching this problem and will post new
