SYMPTOMS
========
When you click Customize on the Tools menu, you cannot remove the Customize menu
item by dragging the menu item to the Customize dialog box or to another
toolbar.
CAUSE
=====
By design, you are unable to perform this action because the Customize menu
option is active.
WORKAROUND
==========
Use one of the following methods as a workaround.
Method 1: Use the Customize Shortcut Menu
-----------------------------------------
1. Right-click any toolbar and click Customize on the shortcut menu.
The Customize dialog box must remain open; however, you might need to move it
out of the way.
2. On the Tools menu, right-click the Customize menu.
3. To delete the Customize menu, click Delete on the shortcut menu.
Method 2: Reset the Tools Menu
------------------------------
1. On the Tools menu, click Customize.
The Customize dialog box must remain open; however, you might need to move it
out of the way.
2. Right-click the Tools Menu, and click Reset on the shortcut menu.
3. To delete the Customize menu, drag the Customize menu command from the Tools
menu.
