SYMPTOMS

running on the Alpha platform, the graphic may be inserted as a blank bounding
box (an empty frame), or it may not be inserted at all.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at
the beginning of this article.

MORE INFORMATION
================

When you insert a Computer Graphics Metafile (CGM) graphic, the graphic will
fail to preview, and when inserted, will be a blank bounding box.

When you insert a Micrografx Designer Draw or Windows Draw (DRW) graphic, only
part of the graphic may be inserted or when inserted, will be a blank bounding
box.

When you insert a AutoCAD Format 2-D (DXF) graphic, the graphic will act as if it
will be inserted, but nothing is inserted into the document.
