SYMPTOMS
========

When you run Microsoft Plus! For Kids, Protect It!, you may receive the
following or a similar error message when you log on as a new user or start a
program from the Windows 95 or Windows 98 desktop:

  A Fatal Exception has occurred at 0028-C0268F8A in VXD VCOMM(04)+00000532.

This error message can occur when you are using either restricted or unrestricted
user profiles.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if you have the Hewlett Packard (HP) DeskJet 682 printer
driver installed on your computer.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this issue, remove the HP DeskJet 682 printer driver from your
computer. To do this, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.

2. Right-click the HP DeskJet 682 printer, and then click Delete.

After you remove the HP DeskJet 682 printer driver from your computer, Protect
It! should run properly.
