SYMPTOMS
========

When you open an Encarta collage, you may notice that the sounds skip or
stutter.

This occurs on a Power Macintosh (Power PC) computer running the Mac OS.

NOTE: Sound in the collages is disabled on computers equipped with Motorola 680x0
processors.


STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the 1997 edition of Microsoft
Encarta Encyclopedia for the Macintosh. Microsoft is researching this problem
and will post new information here as it becomes available.
