SYMPTOMS
========

There is no way to know if the printer is out of paper or if the printer is
offline.

RESOLUTION
==========

There are two new events logged in the Windows NT Application Event log for SNA
Server Print Service:

  Event ID 3
  Severity=Warning
  The NT Print Spooler has reported an error on printer %1.%n

  Event ID 4
  Severity=Warning
  The NT Print Spooler has reported that printer %1 is out of paper.%n

To resolve this problem, obtain the hotfix mentioned below.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in SNA Server version 3.0. This
problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft SNA Server 3.0 U.S. Service Pack.
