SYMPTOMS
========

In Microsoft Word Viewer 97-2000, if you are in outline view and you press
ALT+UNDERSCORE ( _ ) to collapse the view or ALT+PLUS SIGN (+) to expand the
view, nothing happens.

CAUSE
=====

These keystrokes are shown on the Outline View submenu; however, they do not
work.

RESOLUTION
==========

Use the commands on the Outline View submenu to expand and collapse an outline
view.

To expand the view:

1. Make sure you are in outline view. (On the View menu, click Outline.)

2. On the View menu, point to Outline, and click Expand.

To collapse the view:

1. Make sure you are in outline view. (On the View menu, click Outline.)

2. On the View menu, point to Outline, and click Collapse.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products that are
