SYMPTOMS
========

You experience one of the following symptoms:

Case 1
------

When you attempt to insert a comment at the beginning of a paragraph, the comment
is inserted after the first word of the paragraph.

Case 2
------

When you attempt to insert a comment at the beginning of a sentence within a
paragraph, the comment is inserted after the first word of the sentence.

Case 3
------

When you attempt to insert a comment on a blank line,

- the comment is inserted after the first word of the following sentence or
  paragraph.

  -or-

- the comment is inserted at the end of the preceding paragraph that contains
  text.

WORKAROUND
==========

Place the insertion point within or at the end of a paragraph that contains
text, and then insert the comment.

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the
