SYMPTOMS
========

The text in Cinemania 97 appears corrupt or garbled on an IBM Thinkpad. This
occurs if you are using a Cyber9320 display driver.

You may also experience this behavior in other programs after you exit
Cinemania.

NOTE: Rebooting the computer resolves the problem until Cinemania is launched
again.

RESOLUTION
==========

To resolve this problem, use a different display driver.

The Trident Super VGA display driver is compatible and resolves the problem. To
change the display driver, do the following:

1. Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

2. Double-click Display.

3. Click the Settings tab.

4. Click Change Display Type.

5. Next to the Adapter Type, click Change.

6. Make sure Show Compatible Devices is selected.

7. From the list, select:

  Trident Super VGA

  If the Trident Super VGA display driver is not listed under Compatible
  Devices, do the following:
  a. Click Show All Devices.

  b. From the Manufacturers list, select:

  Trident Microsystems

  c. From the Models list, select:

  Trident Super VGA

8. Click OK, then Close, then click Close again.

9. When you are prompted to restart your computer, click Yes.

Cinemania should run normally.
