SYMPTOMS
========

After you run C2CONFIG from the Windows NT 4.0 Resource Kit on an Windows NT
domain controller, Windows 95 clients logging on to the Windows NT domain report
the following error messages:

  User not allowed to log on at this computer.

-or-

  You are not allowed to log on from this workstation.

Event ID 533 is logged in the NT Security log. Users are able to log on to a
Windows NT computer with the same account. The account is configured to allow
logging on to all workstations.

CAUSE
=====

The cause is undetermined at this time.

RESOLUTION
==========

To correct the problem, delete the following key (which was added by C2CONFIG)
from the registry:

require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot guarantee that
problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use
Registry Editor at your own risk.

For information about how to edit the registry, view the "Changing Keys And
Values" online Help topic in Registry Editor (Regedit.exe) or the "Add and
Delete Information in the Registry" and "Edit Registry Data" online Help topics
in Regedt32.exe. Note that you should back up the registry before you edit it.
