Microsoft Word 97 includes a component called WordMail that allows you to use
Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor in Microsoft Outlook 97. This article
describes how to enable or disable Microsoft Word as your e-mail editor.

To enable or disable Microsoft Word 97 as your e-mail editor, use the following
steps:

1. Start Microsoft Outlook.

2. On the Tools menu, click Options, and click the E-mail tab.

3. Select or clear the Use Microsoft Word As The E-Mail Editor check box and
  click OK.
