SYMPTOMS
========

When you connect to MSN, The Microsoft Network, you may receive the following
error message:

  Internet Explorer cannot open the Internet site http:// The parameter is
  incorrect.

CAUSE
=====

The Program Viewer controls may be damaged.

RESOLUTION
==========

Replace the Program Viewer controls. To do so, follow these steps:

1. Click Start, point to Find, and then click Files Or Folders.

2. In the Named box, type "msn.ini" (without quotation marks), and then click
  Find Now.

3. Right-click the Msn.ini file in the list of found files, and then click
  Delete.

4. Insert the MSN 2.0 CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive. If the Auto Insert
  Notification option is turned on, close the Welcome To MSN window that opens
  on the desktop.

5. Double-click My Computer.

6. Right-click the CD-ROM drive icon, and then click Explore.

7. Double-click the Msnsetup folder.

8. Double-click the Compnts folder.

9. Double-click the Coreui.exe file.

10. If you are prompted to restart the computer, click Yes.
