Q. How can I update my MSN Access Number Phonebook?
A. You can update your phonebook by following these simple steps:

  While you are connected to MSN, using the right button on your mouse, click
  the MSN icon on your desktop. Click Connection Settings, and then click
  Access Numbers.

  At this point your new phonebook will download. If you have the current
  version of the phonebook nothing will happen, however, if your phonebook
  needs upgrading you will see a progress bar.

  Before you dial into the service the next time, click Connection Settings, and
  then click Access Numbers. Choose a new access number local to you, and then
  click OK.

Q. How do I change my MSN access number while connected to MSN?
A. To change your access number while connected, follow these steps:

  1. Right mouse click the desktop MSN icon.
  2. Click Connection Settings.
  3. Click Access Numbers.
  4. Click Change for the primary number or for the backup number.
  5. In the Countries box, select your country.
  6. In the State/Region box, select your state or region.
  7. In the Access Numbers box, select the appropriate number.
  8. Click OK until you return to the MSN Sign-in screen.

  These changes will take effect the next time you log on to MSN.

Q. How do I change my MSN access number while offline?
A. To change your access number while offline, follow these steps:

  1. On the MSN Sign-in screen, click Settings.
  2. Click Access Numbers.
  3. Click Change for the primary number or for the backup number.
  4. In the Countries box, select your country.
  5. In the State/Region box, select your state or region.
  6. In the Access Numbers box, select the appropriate number.
  7. Click OK until you return to the MSN Sign-in screen.
