SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to delete a System Administrator message that you have not
modified, you may receive the following message:

  Item could not be deleted. The action could not be carried out because an
  attachment has been modified.

CAUSE
=====

This behavior can occur if you view the properties of the message before
attempting to delete it.
