SYMPTOMS
========

When you attempt to start the Remoteboot Service automatically on a DEC Alpha
computer, the following is displayed:

  Event ID: 7024 - The Remoteboot Service terminated with the service- specific
  error 2613.

CAUSE
=====

When entries are listed in Remoteboot Manager, the Remoteboot Service fails when
started automatically.

WORKAROUND
==========

To work around this problem, start the Remoteboot Service manually.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 3.51. We are
researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft
Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
