SYMPTOMS
========

After exiting the SourceSafe Explorer, SourceSafe remains in the Task Bar. There
are also times when the Tooltip for SourceSafe does not appear. It seems to
happen when you run the mouse over the SourceSafe Task Bar, but Sourcesafe
Explorer is not the active application.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the
beginning of this article. This problem has been fixed in Visual SourceSafe 5.0.
