SYMPTOMS
========

If you are running one of the Multimedia products listed at the top of this
article, you may experience distorted colors or the window may turn black when
you do one of the following:

- Run a program full screen over the Multimedia application

- Minimize the other full screen program

- Click on the minimized icon

- Click a blank area of your desktop (wallpaper) or press the Escape key.

CAUSE
=====

The problem occurs because the minimized icon is the active (focus) application.
This means the minimized application is the currently running application.

RESOLUTION
==========

Switch to the multimedia program experiencing the problem and the display will
return to normal.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the programs listed at the top
of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information
here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
