This article explains how to change the video driver used by Windows.

CAUTION: Before changing the video driver, create a copy of the System.ini file
located in the Windows folder and make note of the installed video driver prior
to making any change.

To change your Windows video driver:

1. Double click the Windows Setup icon. The icon is located in Program Manager's
  Main group.

2. On the Options menu, click Change System Settings.

3. Click the down arrow to the far right of the Display setting.

4. Scroll through the list of available video drivers. If your video driver is
  listed, click your selection and OK and skip to step 8. If your video driver
  is not listed and you have a floppy disk that contains your video driver,
  scroll to the end of the list and click "Other display (Requires disk from
  OEM)".

5. Place the floppy disk in your floppy drive and type the location of the
  floppy disk and click OK.

6. Click the video driver you want to install and click OK.

7. Click OK. If a driver already exists on your system, you will be prompted to
  either use the current (Current) driver or copy a new (New) driver to
  Windows. NOTE: If you click New, you will prompted for the video display
  driver disk provided by the video card manufacturer, or a Microsoft Windows
  disk.

8. Click Restart Windows.
