SUMMARY

The Disk Space Alarm tool included with Microsoft Plus! displays low disk- space
notifications for hidden drives. Also, the settings in the Disk Space Alarm tool
display and allow you to change settings for hidden drives.

You can turn off the alarm for low disk space on hidden drives. To do so, follow
these steps:
1. In System Agent, click the scheduled Disk Space Alarm task.
2. On the Program menu, click Properties.
3. Click Settings.
4. Click a hidden drive, and then click the "Notify me if there is less than
<X> MB of free space" check box to clear it.
5. Click OK until you return to System Agent.
To modify a drive so that it is not hidden, follow these steps:
1. Click the Start button, point to Programs, point to Accessories, point to
System Tools, and then click DriveSpace.
2. Click a hidden drive.
3. On the Drive menu, click Properties.
4. Click the Hide This Host Drive check box to clear it, and then click OK.
When you remove a drive's Hidden attribute, the drive becomes available in My
Computer or Windows Explorer so you can adjust the free space.
