SYMPTOMS
========

When you try to set exceptions for specific files using the Browse button in
Compression Agent, hidden files are not displayed.

CAUSE
=====

Hidden files do not appear in the Browse dialog box, even if you have chosen to
view all files in My Computer.

RESOLUTION
==========

To set exceptions for specific hidden files without removing the files' Hidden
attribute, enter the full path for each hidden file in the Add Exceptions dialog
box.

STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Plus! version 1.0 for
Windows 95. We are researching this problem and will post new information here
in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
