SYMPTOMS
========

You are not be able to access the second CD-ROM drive unit when you use a Sony
CDU 6251a CD-ROM installed on your computer running Window NT 3.5 or 3.51.

Windows for Workgroups 3.11 does not exhibit this problem.

NOTE: The Sony CDU 6251a CD-ROM drive is two Sony CDU 31a drives put together in
one chassis.


STATUS
======

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT versions 3.1, 3.5,
and 3.51. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in
the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
