SUMMARY

SNA Server is designed to connect to IBM mainframes and AS/400s, however, SNA
Server can connect to the following end systems, too:

NOTE: This list does not include cluster controllers or other intermediary
devices.

- IBM mainframes (all types: S/360, S/370, S/390, ES/9000, etc.)

- IBM plug-compatible mainframes running IBM host software:
   - Amdahl

   - Fujitsu

   - Hitachi

   - Other systems

- Tandem hosts running SNA

- IBM AS/400s

- Fujitsu hosts running FNA (with SNA Server 2.11-J)

- Hitachi hosts running HNA (with SNA Server 2.11-J)

- IBM OS/2 Comm Manager or Extended Services (through APPC)

- Unix-based SNA gateway products (through APPC)

- RS/6000 (running IBM SNA Services)
